Regardless of whether for lunch for a quick schnitzel or in the evening for dinner ... eaten in the restaurant or as a TakeAway ... we have never been disappointed! Very good, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere are combined with perfect, relaxed service! The Gerling family and team just do a great job!

A great restaurant. Neat ambience and a typical Saarland experience. Those who like fried food should look for something else. But if you like good meat professionally prepared, you've come to the right place. But all other dishes are also top. We were very satisfied and the staff was very friendly. If we're here again, have a look again.

First of all, to the ambience. The beer garden is a disaster. Totally scruffy. The service is very good. Drinks and food were quickly at the table. I had a rump steak 350gr. I was not asked about the cooking level. Which beef it is is not apparent from the menu. My companion was promised a juicy saddle of pork roast. Unfortunately, that was not the case. In terms of taste also quite off. My rump steak was more than medium and quite tough. I also complained. I was offered a new piece of meat, which I politely declined. All in all, we left 73 euros. Much too much for this achievement. That was our first and last visit.

A really quaint restaurant with good food and an owner couple who runs this restaurant with heart. Important: you have to bring time! The food is freshly prepared on the swivel grill in the dining room. You can watch your food cook, class. The meat quality and style is excellent.

Cooked on a traditional BBQ, lots of meat. Didn't like the kaminsteak.

After a short looking on the net for a "different" restaurant in our area to celebrate our 22 anniversary, I found the Kaminklause, and directly I said this the one! With my wife and our daughter we got the feeling that we're in a family visit . A place where you can find smiles, delicious food and drinks, warm atmosphere, and a parking place for your car ... so honestly what we want more? Certainly we'll return back more and more. We recommend this restaurant!

Had a wonderful experience here, even if we were a bit on the clock. They do have an English menu for you and they are incredibly warm and welcoming. Boy oh boy is the food tasty. I've probably had one of the best pork fillets in the world here, but the Weiner snitzels and the turkey steak were fantastic as well. Everything down to the salad even were fabulous and perfectly cooked, yet tender and juicy. And I'd say the prices were more than great for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Absolutely loved this place

The meat is very tasty, staff and owner are super friendly. My hubby managed to eat 1kg meat, so he now features in their book of records.

Our Airbnb host recommended this beautiful place as a restaurant nearby to eat at. I can honestly say this is one of the best recommendations we have received! The restaurant owners are very welcoming and lovely! The food is absolutely to die for. Gorgeous smoked meat cooked over a spinning circular grill. I have never seen anything like it. The flavour really came out too! The menu is clever as you pick your meat of choice and then whatever accompaniments you want. From 5 different types of potato to salad, ratatouille grilled and sautéed vegatables. Price is also great and very reasonable, considering the amount you get. Go in hungry! There is nothing I can fault. Thank you for such a wonderful meal and experience!

Epic steak at a decent price. Beware the sides are large, we struggled to get through the 3 pictured. It’s interesting how the cook the steak too.
